Announcing our Brand New MoCo Food Map

Are you ready to explore MoCo’s local food in a big new way this spring? Announcing our brand new MoCo Food Map, an interactive, searchable map that you can use with your GPS to hunt for the hidden gems buried within our vibrant MoCo local food landscape?

Whether you’re in the mood for international food or just want to shop local, this map will help you find exactly what you are looking for by narrowing down the many wonderful options in Montgomery County. The map includes Montgomery County-based international retailers, stores that carry local food, farm stores, farmers markets, and much more! This interactive map is compatible on your mobile device and features food businesses, their contact information and, wherever possible, their website.

The MoCo Made initiative of the Montgomery County Food Council highlights and supports our county’s vibrant and diverse local food and beverage sector through promotions, educational opportunities, networking events, and resources. The purpose of the MoCo Food Map is to create a comprehensive listing of local food stores, international food stores, MoCo Made producers, farms, farmers markets, farm stores, and local beverage businesses. The map includes MoCo-based food businesses that produce or source local food or beverages, and/or list MoCo as their primary business location.

Retailers carry print guides to display in their stores and MoCo Made decals in order to increase awareness of MoCo Made products. Please look for the print Food & Beverage Guides throughout the County, and support our local retailers!

Stay tuned for our MoCo Food Map scavenger hunt to further explore local food in MoCo. For more information about the MoCo Food Map, please contact Ester at
