Did you know about the new food safety laws that could impact your farm or food business as soon as next January? The new traceability rule (Section 204d of the Food Safety Modernization Act) goes into effect January 20, 2026 for all providers who manufacture, process, pack, or hold foods included on the Food Traceability List (FTL). Impacted farms will be those that sell over $25,000 in produce sales per year, grow foods on the FTL, and sell to wholesale buyers. Many food retailers and wholesalers will be affected through new labeling requirements.
Learn more about how this could impact you, plus learn the latest about food safety laws including GAP, at MoCo Made’s Food Safety Law Info Session with Carol Allen, Wednesday, March 12th, from 1:00–2:00 PM!
