Launching Our First-Ever Organizational Strategic Plan

The Montgomery County Food Council is thrilled to launch our first-ever organizational Strategic Plan! Our growth over our ten-year history demonstrates our unique and valuable role in local food systems work, and our new strategic plan sets the framework for intentional decision making on future opportunities. It will identify how we intend to employ our resources, including staff, volunteer, and social capital, in order to achieve our mission. This plan is just the first step in this process. Each priority area’s goals, strategies, objectives, and three-year vision will be expanded, including how each relates to communications, evaluation, and development. This plan will also provide concrete direction for staff performance goals, budget allocation, and professional development. We want to thank the many members of our community that contributed to this effort, and we look forward to implementing it together with our partners!
