The Montgomery County Food Council hosted a virtual Food Sovereignty Panel Discussion on Friday, April 30th from 10-11:30am. This discussion focused on outlining the principles of food sovereignty, identifying systemic racial inequities in our local food system, and the initial steps that can be taken to elevate community voices and perspectives, and center social justice in our work.
