2024 Montgomery County Food Council Impact Report

We’re proud to share our 2024 Impact Report, highlighting how the Montgomery County Food Council, in partnership with our community, met growing challenges and laid the groundwork for a more just, sustainable, and resilient food system. This year, we launched a centralized cold storage solution for local farmers, submitted testimony on over 15 state food system bills, strengthened SNAP enrollment as a Lead Organization, and fostered vital connections between food assistance providers, farmers, and policymakers. We’d like to thank our many partners for helping us to build a stronger, more equitable food future for Montgomery County.
