Introducing the 2023 Montgomery County Food Council Highlights!

We are thrilled to announce the 2023 Montgomery County Food Council Highlights! This snapshot and summary of our accomplishments and grants in 2023 is now available for our community, stakeholders, and partners to explore. While this isn’t a comprehensive report, it’s designed to shine a spotlight on some of the incredible work being done within our local food system. From innovative projects to impactful grants, these highlights offer a glimpse into the progress we’ve made together.

Under the leadership of our new Executive Director, Nanya Chiejine, we’re excited to continue serving as an anchor for the local food landscape. Nanya’s passion and expertise have already proven invaluable, and we’re eager to leverage her guidance as we push our mission forward into new territories.

As we share these highlights, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to every individual, community member, partner, and organization who has played a role in supporting our initiatives. Your contributions have been instrumental in driving our progress, and we recognize that none of this would be possible without your dedication. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of our community members and the health of our environment. Let’s celebrate our collective achievements and reignite our passion as we look ahead to the opportunities that await us in 2024. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey, and here’s to another year of meaningful impact and growth!
