The 2023 MoCo Made Food & Beverage Expo was a Resounding Success!
The 2023 MoCo Made Food & Beverage Expo, hosted by the Montgomery County Food Council, was a wonderful experience for all that took place on Thursday, September 28th at the Silver Spring Civic Building. This year’s event was a huge success, showcasing the local food and beverage scene in Montgomery County, Maryland. The Expo was attended by special guests from the Maryland House of Delegates, David Moon, Lorig Charkoudian Maryland State Senator Cheryl Kagan, District 17, who joined the festivities by drawing attendees’ names with special giveaway gift bags filled with local MoCo Made products!
One of the standout features of the event was the presence of numerous local food and beverage vendors who brought their best offerings to the table. From artisanal cheeses and handcrafted chocolates to farm-fresh produce and unique craft beverages, there was a diverse array of treats to sample and savor. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with these passionate local entrepreneurs, gaining insight into their creative processes and experiencing the rich flavors that Montgomery County has to offer.
The success of the 2023 MoCo Made Food & Beverage Expo would not have been possible without the generous support of its sponsors: ForBright Bank, Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op, and The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. As the Expo came to a close, attendees left anticipating next year’s event! We extend our gratitude to all who participated and look forward to once again celebrating local entrepreneurs!
