The Food Council is honored to be selected as the Nickels for Nonprofits partner at all five Whole Foods Markets Montgomery County locations from July 1st-December 31st, 2019!
Nickels for Nonprofits encourages customers to shop with reusable shopping bags while providing the opportunity to give back to the community at the same time. At participating Whole Foods Market stores (see below), customers who bring in and use reusable bags at checkout from now through the end of the year can choose to donate their bag refund of five cents per bag to the Food Council.
Nickels for Nonprofits supports Whole Foods Market’s core values of caring about their communities and the environment. We encourage you to support these core values and the Food Council by bringing your reusable bags each time you shop at a Montgomery County Whole Foods Market store, and by donating your bag refunds to the Food Council.
