Meeting Time: Monthly on Tuesdays, 2:00- 3:00pm Summary: The SNAP Work Group includes organizations that provide nutrition benefits enrollment assistance to residents, the Montgomery County Office of Eligibility and Support Services, and other groups that serve residents with low-income. The Work Group meets each month to discuss outreach strategies to increase enrollment in SNAP and federal nutrition programs, challenges related to enrollment, updates to federal policy that impact local implementation, and best practices for outreach, communications, and customer service related to nutrition benefits.
