The activities of the Food Council are accomplished primarily through our Working Groups, led by staff and Council Members and populated by concerned residents with a shared commitment to making a positive impact in our food system. These subcommittees develop and executive initiatives, support policies, and facilitate partnerships connected to their specific goals.
Anyone is invited to join the Working Groups, which meet more frequently and independently than the whole Food Council. Public participation in our working groups is essential for our success and we welcome all volunteers to join our effort.
