Montgomery County COVID-19 Food Access Survey

January 22, 2021: The Food Council has launched a short, 8-question COVID-19 Community Food Access survey to collect input from residents that will guide the County’s food distribution plans in 2021. Residents’ feedback on how the County can best serve our communities and improve food access during and after the COVID-19 pandemic is essential to informing program implementation, policy development, and future funding priorities.

(Información en Español)

The deadline for survey responses has been EXTENDED to Wednesday, March 24th, 2021. The survey is available in English, Spanish, French, Amharic and Chinese.

Please note that residents who complete Part I of the survey will be entered in a drawing to win a $25 gift card, and residents who complete Parts I and II of the survey will be entered to win a $50 gift card.

Community Science, a local evaluation firm, will help the Food Council administer this survey, including data collection and analysis. The information collected through the survey will remain confidential and will only be used to improve food access in the county.

Please help us share the information included below with program participants and clients that your organization serves, as well as with neighbors, local listservs and community groups, through e-newsletters, social media, and on your website. We want to ensure that this survey reaches as many residents as possible.

Any organizations interested in receiving free Food Access Survey postcards, for distribution to community members, can contact Surbhi Sardana at Surbhi.Sardana@montgomerycountymd.gov. Please indicate the number of cards desired, and the best mailing address.
