Gaithersburg Meals on Wheels, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization created in 1981. There is no paid staff or office. We serve a 3 mile radius from Asbury Methodist Village, where meals are prepared, distributed, and then delivered by our volunteer drivers to homebound seniors. We are NOT affiliated with any other Meals on Wheels organizations.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture today announced it will host its first round of trainings throughout the state for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program. The program provides fresh, unprepared, locally-grown fruits and vegetables to WIC and Senior participants and expands the awareness, use, and sales of such products at farmers markets.
